Heather Hagenbuch

Heather Hagenbuch has been working with the TRIO programs for ten years and been a member of the Association for Equality and Excellence for almost as long. Currently, Heather serves as the Coordinator for the McNair Scholars program at the University at Buffalo, the Western New York representative for AEEE, a doctoral candidate studying first-generation college students, and chair of the UB Professional Staff Senate Committee for Inclusion and Diversity. As a member of AEEE, Heather has served the organization in a variety of ways. Heather has been a member of the Emerging Leaders, Conference, and Membership committees.  Furthermore, she has serves as an educator and instructor for four separate Emerging Leaders Institutes.  Heather served as conference co-chair (with Abena Douglas) in 2015 (Niagara Falls, NY), has helped subsequent conference committees with a variety of tasks, and now looks forward to serving the association through 2021 conference planning.
